  WordPress.com does not offer free trials of the paid upgrade plans, but they offer a full refund if you find a plan that does not meet your needs as long as you cancel within 30 days.

  In addition, WordPress.com offers a free plan, that never expires, and you can create as many sites as you want in your account on the free plan.
