Trial Upgrade Payment Problems

Hi,

I am having trouble with payment for the 14 day free trial of the premium plan. I have a domain name and the trial plan in my cart but when I type my card information in, it says that the transaction cannot be processed. I have tried multiple different cards, both debit and credit (American Express and Visa), and nothing will go through. The address attached to the cards is also correct, I have checked multiple times and I even tried paying on a different platform (Mac, phone, and iPad). I’m not sure what else I can do to make this work.

The site I am trying to upgrade is lexiepalasciano.wordpress.com with the new domain of starrycollective.com.

Hello there!

Sorry you’re having that trouble! I’ve added a two week trial for the Premium upgrade to your site, lexiepalasciano.wordpress.com. You can use the domain credit to register your domain name.

If you decide to keep the domain, but not the rest of the Premium upgrade, you will have the option to pay for it independently ($18), without needing to pay for the remainder of the upgrade.

Hello,

I am having the same issue.
I tried to upgrade my trial premium with my VISA and PayPal but it doesn’t work.

I still see that I use the trial version.

I made the site frituurtmeulentje.wordpress.com and I want to map the domain: frituurtmeulentje.be

I cannot map that domain if I don’t have a premium account.

Can you also please help me.

Happy to add the trial for you. However, I just want to clarify this bit:

Even with the Premium bundle, you will not be able to install plugins. Plugins are not available at WordPress.com, only on self-hosted sites. You can read a bit about the difference between the two here:

If you’re trying to setup a multi-lingual site, we have some steps on how to do that here:

If you’re set on using a plugin, you would need to setup a self-hosted site.
