  Good day,

  I have never used WordPress, am a novice and have started with an Ecommerce site on Shopify as it’s very user friendly. However, I’ve noticed that with all the extension and plug-ins, it’s becoming quite pricey.

  Can I try WordPress on a trial basis, to see if I would be able to create an Ecommerce site ? The first two months will be a development phase. Would I be able to cancel if I see it’s not working for us after two months? The subscription is annual.

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com does not offer free trials for any of the paid plans. Unfortunately. However, you’re welcome to try the plan on a monthly basis So you can pay as you go and cancel anytime you feel like you don’t want to continue.

  They also offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase so maybe there lies your free trial, in a way :-).

  That changed recently and is now 7 days for monthly and 14 days for yearly payments.
