Tricky issue with banner in header.php
-
Hi just installed the theme purplex from magpress.com . I cannot however figure how to remove the banner ad in the top right of my site ( see site ebayshark.com )
I have located the <div id=”topbanner”> section where the img and href lie in the header.php file in my theme folder on the server and modified it so that the whole topbanner information between the opening/closing div tags for that section is deleted.
I saved and uploaded and overwrote the original header.php however the banner remains and the page source still shows the topbanner div command remaining.
Any ideas on how to remove this? I cannot find the banner in the admin panel anywhere either.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
