Tried requesting refund but nothing under purchases.

Billing history shows that I was charged on 12/31 (recurring)
Checked online banking which showed that I am still being charged.

It appears that you filed a chargeback with your bank against us for your payment, instead of contacting us for a refund. When you file a chargeback against us you are accusing us of fraud, which causes the funds to be frozen and your site to be locked. You can see more information here:
Since the dispute has already been closed by our payment processor I’m checking with our billing team to see if the dispute was closed in your favor or ours, which will determine whether you need to pay for the Personal plan again to unlock your site before you can continue using it.

I thought my email was associated with a different wordpress account I had, and when I couldn’t find my billing history under that account, I went through my bank.
I was able to get a refund for the personal but not for the domain registration. Could you help me with this?

We can refund for domain registrations that are cancelled right away:
In your case, we could help you un-cancel the domain so you can use it elsewhere. Would that work for you?

I tried to get a refund for the domain registration right away, but didn’t work out because I went through the bank first.
I am wondering if I can get it from wordpress instead of my bank.

@dalbamblog The effect of un-cancelling the domain is that you will still own it for use here or at some other site, as you like. I’d recommend this option.
When you cancel a domain here within 48 hours, we’re able to release the domain so it can be used with another provider. And we get our domain fees back so you can also be refunded. After that time, the domain cannot be released until well after it expires next year.
Disputing the charge through your bank wouldn’t necessarily have the same effect since fraud investigations can take more time.

I’d like to keep the domain cancelled as I won’t be using it.
It’s been past 48 hours but as you can see, I’ve been trying to get it refunded since I was initially billed on 12/31. Would it still be possible?

I’ve refunded the domain’s renewal as well. You should receive the full refund in about 10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.
