I tried to change my domain name under settings-general-domain name. After doing so, i am no longer able to do anything further than logging into my wordpress without being kicked off the site entirely.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, thanks for reaching out.

To help point you in the right direction, could you first let me know whether the domain was purchased or managed directly through WordPress.com, or through another provider?

I ask because the next steps depend on where the domain and hosting are managed.

From what I can see, the site appears to be hosted outside of WordPress.com, and there are indications that it may be hosted with Bluehost. If that’s the case, WordPress.com wouldn’t have access to the domain or login configuration for this site.

Issues like being logged out after changing the site address are commonly caused by a URL or domain mismatch, and those settings are handled by the hosting provider for WordPress.org sites.

If the site is hosted with Bluehost, I’d recommend contacting their support team and letting them know:

    • You recently changed the domain or site URL
    • You’re now unable to stay logged in to the WordPress dashboard

They’ll be able to check the domain configuration and fix the login/session issue from their side.

Once you confirm where the domain is managed, we can help clarify the correct next steps.

    Hi @chaoscoordinatorrr

Thanks for reaching out, as mentioned above by @omkar800 the site is not hosted at WordPress.com. You can check the hosting details via out profiler tool https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/onechaoticmama.com.

Since the site is hosted with Bluehost, you’ll need to log in to your Bluehost account and reach out to their support team. They’ll be best equipped to review the site from the hosting side and help resolve the issue.
