Tried to change the blogaddress, Instead wrongly opened a new account – problem.

  Dear Support team!

  Recently I tried to change my blog ADDRESS http://creaconcept.wordpress.com/ to a new one http://creativehandmadeconcepts.wordpress.com/ , however at first I found a possibility to register the new website http://creativehandmadeconcepts.wordpress.com/ under another e-mail. I already imported the content from my old site. Both sites belong me (I can send you all passwords & logins to prove it) but I intend to write in one site only.

  But 10 minutes later I found a function of a simple renaming the blog address right in my blog, however I can not perform it now as the new website is already registered.
  What should I do? Deleting the second address http://creativehandmadeconcepts.wordpress.com/ (even fresh new address, opened today) and trying to change mine current address http://creaconcept.wordpress.com/ under the second e-mail won’t help in my problem :( – nobody can use this address anymore, even me. How is better to proceed?

  If I’m understanding you:

  • You have two blogs. I can see both blogs are live and online.
  • You also have two email addresses, one for each blog.
  • WordPress recognizes users by the email attached to the account, so to wp.com you look like two different people.
  • If you want to use just one email address for both blogs you can transfer ownership of one blog (creaconcept) to the other account (creativehandmadeconcepts):

  • Then you can set creaconcept blog to private and use it for experimenting with themes, testing how pictures will look, writing ideas for future posts, whatever.

  Whatever you do, do NOT delete anything until your set up is the way you want it to be.

  You are welcome.
  Again, do not delete anything. You may have an account with an email address you don’t want to use, but that can be changed as well. Post again when you try what I showed you if it works as you like or not.
