Tried to start a new ID, new email address, reserved blog URL, no dice. WTF?

  My url is reserved for me, and it’s still not showing up on my dashboard. What’s the deal?

  After changing a few things about our brand, I went to wordpress.com, created a new ID with a new email address, and reserved our blog URL: valkyri.wordpress.com. All was going according to plan… until something happened and we were somehow automatically logged back into our old account as Valkyriechallenge, but with the new email: (email visible only to moderators and staff). Now wordpress insists my url valkyri.wordpress.com is reserved and unavailable to me, because it does not show my other ID or account at all.

  Hi there,
  When you register a username account here all that’s required is an email address, which becomes your unique identifier. If you are logged in and register a blog then it’s registered under that unique identifier. You cannot access any blog unless you are logged in under the exact username account that registered the blog.

  If you have more than one username you must log out, clear your browser cache and cookies and then log-in under the other username account. Did you do that or not?

  It looks like you recently created the blog valkyrisport.wordpress.com, is this the URL you reserved?

  When a WordPress.com user signs up for an account we reserve the WordPress.com web address with their username so no one else can use it. So if they signed up for the username of exampleuser we would reserve exampleuser.wordpress.com for them. The valkyri.wordpress.com was reserved automatically in this way several years ago by the valkyri username. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to unreserve it. Sorry about that!
