    Tried to leave this comment on the WP blog announcement…won’t let me leave a comment!!!

    FUBAR

    My blog, a top 25 blog is having lots of trouble with this new feature. Many users are complaining they can’t use it. The small type size in the comment box is very irritating, especially to older users.

    many say they can’t use it at all. I verified this. I can’t use it on my HTC Evo Andoriod phone. It fails. Never did that before.

    This is a failure due to it not being ready for prime time, please offer a way to get a working comments box back.

    In the meantime, the most requested feature, a way to preview and edit comments before submitting, is still ignored.

    WordPress is not Facebook, it is not Twitter. Failure to be able to comment is failure of the primary wordpress mission. Give me a working comments box over the TWITS and FB’s any day of the week and twice on Sundays

    I do apologize that it isn’t working out for you.

    Unfortunately, there’s no way to turn it off at this time, but I will pass on your feedback regarding the problems and we’ll see if we can get those corrected.

    With 20 million blogs and their various configurations and uses here, it’s often hard to decide when something is truly ready for primetime, as we can’t always account for every scenario, so we do greatly appreciate your feedback when something doesn’t work quite right.

    This is actually the first step in improving the comments to eventually add features like preview and edit, so hang in there! The sooner this works the sooner we can start expanding its features.
