tried updating plugin, whole site is now down… not sure what to do

  This message showed up on my dashboard “The following plugins need to be updated to their latest version to ensure maximum compatibility with this theme: 1. Visual Composer”

  So i followed the steps to update “Visual Composer” and on the next click of updating I got a white screen with this message on it:
