Tried whiching domain names and lost the website

  We had a website that was hosted through wordpress, but the domain name was through another site. Recently we needed to get a new domain name and stupidly I thought I could just change it on wordpress in settings. However, when I did that I lost all access. The new domain name is through google/squarespace. Whenever I try to login to the wordpress admin site it says it is forbidded. Does anyone know how to recover the wordpress access or change bank the site domain?

  I looked into the website golindenunited.com, and it appears that it’s not hosted on WordPress.com but rather on Squarespace using WordPress.org, which led to confusion since WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two separate platforms.   Hello, The Site was hosted under WordPress under golindenunited.org. But then I tried to change it not realizing I would lose the website access. https://golindenunited.org/wp-admin
  
  Is there no way to change it back?

  Did you read teh answer Staff gave you? That site wasn’t hosted by wordpress.com but was a selfhosted site using the open source wordpress.org – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/golindenunited.org – so we can’t help. punct et intended
