Tripadvisor Widget not working
-
Hello!
I want to add a Tripadvisor widget, but it’s not working. The HTML code is supplied to me.
When i add it to the text widget, like this:

http://casaameliadotnet.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/html_after-save.jpgIs there a mistake in the HTML code?
Thank you for your help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are referring to an image this is easily done. Forget the code you have now. Capture the image and upload it then display it in a text widget.

P.S. It’s JavaScript widget and we cannot use them on WordPress.com blogs so I provided a workaround above.

thank you very much!
So the code is for a JavaScript widget and that would not work on wordpress.com blogs.
Allright, i will capture the ‘preview’ image and put it, with it’s link, in a text widget. The widget wóuld show how many ‘Excellent’ Tripadvisor reviews we currently have for our hostel. Do you think the widget would normally automatically update that number? If so, then it’s too bad we can’t use that functionality.
thank you!!!

Hi gain,
Yes what I posted above is correct. In essence the widget is an advertising widget for the TripAdvisor site – regardless of the function you refer to. Best wishes with your blog. -
