TripAdvsior Widget

    Hey there,

Is there any way to add a costum widget into the sidebar?
I see all the templates but I would like to insert this widget:
    <div id="TA_rated547" class="TA_rated"><ul id="TW454HTN" class="TA_links ot9bqKDKjZ"><li id="Fj59vi7tZqsE" class="DlGZdn"><a target="_blank" href="https://www.tripadvisor.com/"><img src="https://www.tripadvisor.com/img/cdsi/img2/badges/ollie-11424-2.gif" alt="TripAdvisor"/></a></li></ul></div><script src="https://www.jscache.com/wejs?wtype=rated&uniq=547&locationId=12049519&lang=en_US&display_version=2"></script>

The code is from TripAdvisor itself and should be correct, but if I add it as Text-Widget it, of course, doesn’t get displayed correctly. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! You definitely have the right idea. Unfortunately, WordPress.com does not accept code that contains an iframe, Javascript, Flash ( for security reasons). I do indeed see some JavaScript in your code above.

I would recommend going back to TripAdvisor and looking for an alternate ‘plain HTML’ widget. If the service offers one, usually there will be some language along the lines of “Animated widget didn’t work? Try our HTML version.”

If the service does not offer a plain HTML widget, then you can easily create your own using a Text widget or Image widget.
