Trition Lite – Column width

    I’m sure this is an easy one, but I’m reluctant to mess about with the css codes in case I can’t put it back properly.

    How do I increase the column width?

    If you look at the ‘e’ at the end of the word confidence, half of it is cut off.

    Many thanks

    Whoa! I’m seeing this in Safari, but not in Firefox. I think this is something staff should look into, but as a temporary fix, remove this from your custom CSS:

    h2 {
    letter-spacing: 3px;
    }

    When you add letter-spacing, Safari is not recomputing string length it seems. Firefox either is, or it is readjusting the letter-spacing itself so that the text doesn’t run outside of the box.

    I’m going to tag this for staff attention so that they can look into this.

    Thanks for your help, although you lost me at ‘string’

    I went to Towfiq himself and he gave me this code

    .lay1 > div .postitle{overflow:visible!important;}

    it works!

    Yeah I thought of that, but it brings the end of the text to the right margin and makes it look off center.

    If you increase the letter-spacing to expand outside of a container element, something like you described could happen independent of it being an issue with the theme. Either using the letter-spacing fix thesacredpath mentioned or making .post-title overflow:hidden are probably your best options.
