Triton Lite – Reduce size of post titles, column width, images same size help
-
Hi there,
I have custom css, but I’m not sure how to change the size of the font titles (I’m sure it’s easy, but…) Suddenly, the post titles are overlapping into columns.
For example
Also, how do I get the images the same size on the posts. At the moment, they’re all different and I have to make all images square or they’re too small.
The pink ‘read more’ is also being swallowed up by posts
Last one, whenever I use bullets points, the text is smaller and squashed up

Staff work their way through CSS forum threads in datsestamp order. They serve the threads with the earliest dates first and work their way forward to the most recent one. Please be patient while waiting.

Hi there, I’m not seeing any overlapping into other columns on the main page of your site. Did you get this issue resolved?
On the images, I would suggest that you create images for your site that are the exact same width to height ratio. Since it looks like you are going for more-or-less a square image, I would suggest that you use images that have the same heights and widths (square). Since the single post page has 620px of width, I would suggest images 620px square. The software will downsize them for the main page of your site and then on the single post pages, the images will fill the entire width.
I’m not seeing any places where your Read More is being hidden. Did you get this sorted out?
The text size for bullet and numbered lists is pulled from the body rule in the CSS. I was unable to find a bulleted list on your site, so I can’t figure out what to do for this. If you can point me to a location where you have a list, I would be happy to help. I can even view draft posts, so if you have something in draft with bullets, just let me know the title.

TinyTeeth – ‘Date stamp order’ is a myth – check the date stamps of the replies!
The Sacred Path – Thank you for responding.
Changing the size of the font titles was an easy fix and here it is for anyone else with a similar problem.
Appearance, Customise, Fonts, then select Tiny, Normal, Large etc from the drop down menu.
Thank you re the images! Will do just that.
Bullet points
Here’s an example of squashed text after the points

One last thing, like many others on here, for the past week my visitor numbers have dropped like a stone, I did think it was because of Xmas etc, but it definitely appears to be a bug.
Many thanks for your patience, we DO appreciate your hard work.

@unfadedbeauty, what @timethief was saying is that when I, as staff, work the CSS forums, I start from the oldest unreplied or unresolved threads and work my way up from there to the newest. If you come back and bump your thread by posting in it again, then you to up to the top of the forum with the newest posts since it then changes the date/time stamp to the time you posted your second reply, which means that it will likely be longer before you get a reply.
Volunteers in the forums may answer things in any order. Sometimes that is just a simple choice, and sometimes it is because they may not know the answers to certain things.
On the bullets, I assume you are talking about the spacing in between the lines. The following CSS will make the spacing the same as the paragraphs.
#posts ul li { line-height: 19px; } -
Fantastic, it works, thank you.
Yeah I get it, it pays to be patient!
I will try to keep my images within those ratios.
Consider this matter resolved and thank you for YOUR patience. -
