Triton Lite Format

I am assuming there is not a way to make the Triton Lite theme present itself more like a traditional blog where the posts run in a vertical fashion?
If not, is there a way to pick which picture from your posts represents the preview of it?
I like everything else about it and really wanted to make the switch from the “Mystique” theme.
I am using a test blog for the Triton Lite theme which is set to private but I was hoping someone that was familiar with the theme could give me a concrete answer, thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Triton lite forum threads > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/triton-litere: vertical fashion – your assumption is incorrect.
The theme is designed so that the first image in every post will be automatically made into a featured image and you choose which image will be first in any post.

And you can set the featured image yourself by uploading it in the Featured Image module if you want something specific. I’m using this theme if you want to have a look.

Thanks to you both for replying. Looks like the Mystique theme remains my best bet for what I want to do.
timethief, is there any chance they could update the Mystique theme with more “theme options” such as link color and other custom color options for maybe the “navigation bar?” I would guess I could implement those with a purchase of the Custom Design upgrade.

@amazin86er
I don’t think the chances of what you ask for happening are even on the radar. WordPress.com sells annually renewable custom design upgrades and what you want is what CSS editing can be used to do.
