trouble adding user

  Tried to invite user as contributor. He tried to accept invitation but found it too confusing. I had him come to my home so I could help him. When we did this we got message “Whoops, you can’t use an activation key you’ve created for someone else.:

  There does not seem to be an easy way to add a user, it is too confusing. I am not sure what to do now since no matter what we try we are unable to add him as a user

  also do a search on Google for this problem. Type or paste it into the Google search bar exactly like this (all on the same line, obviously):

  site:en.forums.wordpress.com “Whoops, you can’t use an activation key you’ve created for someone else”

  then click on a few of the results to see if and how any of them have been answered. Then try those answers yourself.
