Trouble Changing Primary Domain

  I own http://www.doctordevi.com and I want the content from http://www.doctordevi.wordpress.com to appear on that domain. When I try to change my primary domain in the WordPress admin panel to http://www.doctordevi.com says it’s “redirecting” and all the content I created is missing. How do I get rid of the “wordpress” part of the domain name without losing the content? Thanks!
