Trouble commenting on Typepad blogs with my WordPress identity

  Trying to leave a comment on Typepad Blogs, it’s kicking back saying, Please add a proper URL. I’ve erased and retyped. Usually, when I have trouble at a Typepad blog it’s because Apple had a recent update and they have, iOS mobile 9.2.1 I have notified them, they told me to restart my device, of course that did -0-. Just want to cover all of the bases and notify here as well. Thanks

  Neither work on Typepad blogs.

  I do have an issue with Google and using my WordPress identity on Blogger blogs, where WordPress imported my Blogger Blog to WordPress.com in 2012, the Blogger Profile was disabled or locked? I can not delete it or edit it, it has a closed email address on it and Google will not let me use my good Yahoo email since they have merged that Profile without a Blog to my Google Acct. Nor will they U merge or delete that outdated profile that can not be edited by me from desk top or mobile. But I don’t think that has any affect on Typepad blogs.

  I tried commenting on typepad blogs by just entering test.wordpress.com in the Web Site URL field.

  Have you tried using a different device or browser to replicate the issue because there’s not much posted online regarding typepad comments have the error message Please add a proper URL.

  I have not tried a different browser on this new iPad Air 2. I was hoping to not have to do that on this newer product. LOL

  From ipad2, before, I was able to use the Puffin Browser and comment on Typepad blogs, when it would not work from Safari. Typepad had recommended that to me to test for them to rule stuff out. I hadn’t even thought of it this time.

  I’m confident it’s an Apple issue. Last time it coincided with the WordPress glitch where we couldn’t upload photos from iPhoto to our blogs, WP was causing the photo app to crash, but you guys are awesome and fix things quickly. And then Apple sent a fix days after you guys.

  What browser/app and specific Apple device are you using?

  Apple iPad Air 2, with Safari, it had a lesser iOS, I updated to 9.2.1 righter after purchasing it 2-22-16.

  I downloaded FireFox just now, but was unable to leave a comment there using my WordPress URL.
  The error pop up window says

  Http://
  http://Www.typepad.com
  Pease enter a valid URL

  And there is an OK to press to make it go away.

  I saw your test comment. ;). And tried commenting from iPhone 5S and was able to Only if I did not put in my WordPress URL, I left it blank and only used my email address. Of course, it’s running Apple iOS 9.2.1 using Safari.
