Trouble connecting Ulysses to my website.

    Hi, I currently have a website through WordPress (although, my site uses Wordpess.org). However, whenever I try to connect my account to Ulysses, I get the following error: ‘The server at “devinciscode.com” is reporting a compatibility problem. This can be caused by special WordPress configurations or faulty plugins.’

    I did a Google search and it seems that the issue is somehow connected to XMLRPC, but I don’t want to do anything too technical before reaching out to support and seeing if you can help me figure out how to make the connection work. Thanks in advance.

    In this forum we’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.

    If the issue is with XML-RPC, you need to contact your hosting provider for help, as that’s something that’s configured on your server, not in WordPress.

    For general help with the open source WordPress software you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums, but based on your description this isn’t an issue with the WordPress software.
