Trouble creating a store

  I have had my site for a little over a year and a half and have built it up with lots of content and information over that time- I very recently upgraded my site so that I can add a shop for selling my courses and products; unfortunately, when I open the woocommerce plugin it prompts me to select a theme for my shop, which revises (and essentially breaks) my entire website. I like the current theme I have and I have put a lot of work into making it functional and visually appealing, my theme also has templates pages for shops and products; however, since I paid for the upgrade to my site, how do I create a functional shop using the woocommerce blocks?

  I’m glad to inform you that you can absolutely add a shop feature to your site without changing themes. Your site is already using one of our default themes – Meraki – which is fully compatible with WooCommerce.

  I see that you’ve already added some products to your site, which is great! To complete your shop setup, here are the next steps:

  1. Create a new page on your site and name it “Shop”.
  2. On this new Shop page, use WooCommerce Blocks to display your products. You can add blocks like “All Products”, “Product Categories”, or “Featured Products” depending on how you want to showcase your items.
  3. To enhance the shopping experience, you can add a mini-cart block to your site’s header. This allows customers to easily view their cart from any page.
