Trouble cropping images

    Hello,
    I am unable to crop an image to add to the header on my website. It just keeps showing a message announcing there’s an error. Please help!

    Hi there,
    I have tried to replicate the issue you are facing and I found the same issue here. Screenshot1

    This can be a bug and I am adding this thread for staff attention. Meanwhile, I checked more and I will recommend you not to click the “Crop Image” button first. When, you find a screen like Screenshot2 wait for appearing crop box Screenshot3. If the crop box appears on image, you can crop according to your need.

    If crop box doesn’t appear, I would suggest you to click right button on your mouse and click on “inspect element” Screenshot4 The crop box appear and will work after that. Screenshot5

    It looks like this is a known issue with core WordPress and something that’s on our radar.

    Currently this stems from the size of the image being used for cropping.

    Are you able to crop the image prior to being uploaded so that it’s 1180px(w) × 360px(h).
