Trouble deleting account

  I find it totally scandalous that NOWHERE on this site you have any information on how to delete your account. I really want to get it deleted and I have not a key on how to do this, because I can’t either find how to contact the Webmaster or someone responsible of WordPress.

  Thanks, but I’ve already checked this page and it doesn’t help at all. Mainly, it explains that you cannot delete your account but only deactivate it in some totally dumb way by changing your password…

  Moreover, the contact form proposed on this page doesn’t seem to work at all :

  By any chance, have you some other hints ?

  The form doesn’t work because this is a paid upgrade.

  You cannot delete your wordpress.com username account. This is for security reasons so others cannot claim your username and impersonate you (they are kept so they cannot be recycled).

  I suggest you to change your email to a throwaway address so there will be no way your account could ever be linked to you.
