trouble embedding blip.tv videos

  I am using the exact same gigya code that has been working for all my other videos… but today, its not working on new videos. What am I doing wrong?

  Can you try using the shortcode for blip.tv instead of the gigya code? For example, replace “gigya src=” with “blip.tv” on your Edit Post page?

  We’ve recently made some changes to video embeds on WordPress.com (and more to come!) that may be related to the issue you’re coming across.

  Can you let me know if you come across any similar errors when embedding other blip.tv videos in your posts in the future?

  thanks for writing evarlese… so, there is no fix for my current blog posts… and no clear idea as to what will happen to future blog posts with video?

  I’ll be sure to let you know… but I don’t know how long I can keep my blog here if this is an issue. I am trying to build a business.

  Howdy,

  You will still be able to insert video into your posts, but will need to use the Blip.tv shortcode to do so ( i.e., [blip.tv example.url.com] ) from now on, rather than gigya src. Will this be a problem for you?
