Trouble exporting my website!!!
-
Thanks so much Rachael
Even though I don’t have a subscribe option on the website, because someone commented on one of my blogs, they have ended up as a subscriber from what I can see in my stats…
Does this mean they will get email notifications every time I post a new blog?
Is there some way I can turn off the subscribers option?
Cheers

Hi Steph,
If you have the Jetpack Subscriptions module enabled, visitors can subscribe and receive email notifications when you publish new blog posts. If you want to turn that option off, you can follow these steps:
Jetpack: How to activate and deactivate modules
If you have any other questions about the options and settings on Jetpack, you can also check out our Jetpack support site here: Jetpack Support
-
thanks Rachael
I have turned off the “subscribe to blog” function and only left the “notify me of comments” option available
However, the Jetpack support site does not tell me how to remove individual subscribers- do you know how? I have googled this also with no answer
It’s just the one subscriber I want to get rid of- my wp.com account is the 2nd subscriber & I’m guess you did that to keep the stats or something
-
Hi Steph,
There isn’t currently a way to remove subscribers from Jetpack or WordPress.com blogs. If you don’t want anyone to get email notifications, you’ll need to deactivate the Subscriptions module in Jetpack.
If you have any other questions or concerns about Jetpack, you can get support directly from our Jetpack team here: http://jetpack.me/contact-support/

Hi Rachel
Is it possible to get the stats from the Ausagcareers jetpack(s) that you disconnected added to the Ausagventures stats please?
-
-
Hi Kardotim
The extra stats (around 30k page views from memory) aren’t showing up on my Ausagventures stats so I don’t think it worked?
-
It might take a little while before you see the stats appear. I moved all stats from http://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=33909189 . As I read in a previous message in this thread, that was the correct blog ID.
-
When I click that link I see nothing because I cancelled the hosting account a week ago so the blog itself isn’t on the internet. I thought the stats/ jetpack would still exist though. They are definitely not on the Ausagventures account yet- are they going to be able to come across?
-
The stats are stored on WordPress.com so it doesn’t matter that the account is canceled. It’s true that the stats of the link I sent in my previous reply are empty, that’s because I transferred it to: http://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=60349941
I see that Rachel previously transferred some stats to your develop.ausagventures.com (ID 63225960) site. Do you perhaps want to move the stats from develop.ausagventures.com to ausagventures.com ?
-
No because I never asked Rachel to merge the stats from http://www.ausagcareers.com before the other day, so those won’t be them.
The http://www.ausagcareers.com (now deleted) site had around 30,000 page views
-
I think those stats were previously moved to your development site at http://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=63225960 . I can move them to your running site at ausagventures.com if you want to.
-
No they were never moved. I never asked to have the ausagcareers stats merged with the ausagventures stats until the 15th of Feb.
Are the Ausagcareers stats missing then?
-
Nevermind, I found the stats: http://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=34281703
Does that look right to you?
Can I move those to http://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=60349941 ?
-
http://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=34281703 I can’t access that link- can you send a screenshot please?
http://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=60349941 this is the wrong account to move them too.
They need to be moved to http://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog=63225960
Before doing anything please
a) send the screenshot of the first link as requested
b) confirm that moving the stats to my current live website will not effect the functionality of it whatsoever, because even though I exported and imported the content from Ausagcareers to Ausagventures I changed it alot- so just check that this will only be an addition to my stats. -
The ‘63225960’ ID is your develop.ausagventures.com site and 60349941 = ausagventures.com.

confirm that moving the stats to my current live website will not effect the functionality of it whatsoever
It won’t.

What do you exactly mean?
Did you want to move stats and/or followers from the develop site (63225960) to your live site (60349941)?
