trouble getting started

  I would like to customize a WordPress salon website theme for my hair sylist. He already owns a domain, and I have hosting through JustHost. I have downloaded the latest WordPress software and installed it on my system using the JustHost cPanel. Now what? I’ve only ever created websites using Dreamweaver, so I’m not sure how to work with a downloaded theme. Do I search for a salon theme and download it through WordPress.com? Then do I open it and customize it in WordPress.com, or offline using something like Dreamweaver? Then do I upload it to JustHost through my FTP client to get it live? I’m confused…

  This is the forum for WordPress.com sites. You seem to need help with a WordPress(.org) self hosted site. For this, you need to go here: https://wordpress.org/support/ (create an account there if you don’t have one already)
