Trouble getting < to print

I use the classic editor and need to get < to appear in the output but it never does. What is the incantation so this will happen?

If a < isn’t working on your keyboard I guess you could always resort to the special characters page.

themagicrobot — thanks for your help. No it works fine in the classic editor and shows up but didn’t show up in the part WordPress put it on the web. Finally figured out that
< | > which I wanted to to appear on my blog on the net produced by clicking Print or later Update could be obtained by
< | > typed in exactly that way,
< | >

Hi there,
I’m glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue with displaying the
<and>symbols by using<and>in your content. That’s the right approach, as those symbols are part of HTML and need to be encoded in this way to display correctly on your blog.If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out!
