Trouble Import/Export

  I am trying to import an XML file from another WordPress blog via ShowIt, and I keep getting an error saying, ‘There don’t appear to be any authors in your import file. Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file.’

  I am exporting the only way possible, so I’m at a loss as to what I should do.

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  Hey there,

  It looks like ShowIt is a proprietary platform that sits on to top of WordPress. The export file may not be compatible with the default WordPress importer. In this case, I recommend trying our site importer which you can find on your WordPress.com site under Tools > Import. You could also try using our Move feature here.
