Trouble importing in tools

  I tried importing a downloaded WordPress file (that I exported from a different blog) into my new blog but it will only upload one (the most recent) out of a couple hundred posts.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Is the XML file you are trying to upload from a WordPress>ORG install that was not first upgraded to the latest version of WordPress which is WordPress 3.5.1?

  timethief: I exported the file form a different WordPress blog a couple of weeks ago. I imported it to this new blog once successfully, but then deleted all the posts because I wanted to change everything. When I tried importing the same xml file it now only uploads one of the posts.

  Hi there,

  Can you try downloading a fresh XML file and trying to import that? If you only have the one file, we can still continue to work on this, but that’s an ideal first step.
