Trouble in Updating Email Address

  Hi,
  Need to change my existing E-mail ID to a new one. However this action is being prevented by Word Press, stating -‘ That ID is already being in use’. When I tried to login with the new ID pop up is shown like’ Not allowed to request a login link for this account’. Please help me out to proceed further.
