trouble loading wordpress dashboard/adding new posts from Almaty, Kazakhstan

  I am building my blog from overseas, but my computer takes an extraordinary amount of time to load the wordpress dashboard (if it does at all). Do I need to be doing something special? I know it isn’t the internet connection, because ALL other websites work quickly and well.

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry you’re having trouble with this. Can you check a few things for me:

  1. What is your internet service provider?
  2. Are you using any extensions in your browser? (If so, can you try turning them off and see if your blog’s dashboard loads normally that way?)
  3. Do you have the same trouble with slow loading if you visit https://wordpress.com/ and http://wordpress.com/ ? Or is it only a problem when you visit your blog’s dashboard?
  4. Can you try using another web browser to see if you have the same problem there?
