Trouble making a gallery from pictures on the page

  I followed the tutorial for bringing photographs onto the page (static page, not blog) but then couldn’t seem to find the gallery making tab that was mentioned as the next step. I am using the Manifest theme which says it does a gallery. If in fact it does not do a gallery can you please recommend a clean looking straight forward theme that does?

  Hi there,

  You can add a gallery within posts or pages on any theme. Here are some steps on adding a gallery with screenshots:

  1. Add a new page and click Add Media
  2. In the Add Media window, click Create Gallery
  3. Click on the Media Library tab, then select the pictures you want included
  4. Click the blue “Create Gallery” button in the bottom right of the window
  5. This brings you to the Edit Gallery screen where you can change the image order, the gallery display type, and a couple other settings. When you’re done click “Insert Gallery” in the bottom right.
  6. Then you’ll see the gallery in your edit page screen.
