Trouble playing M4A file after upgrade.

  Hi,

  I wanted to have a link in my blog to an M4A audio file I recorded on my phone. As it was an M4A file I purchased an upgrade (5GB) and was able to put the link in the text but when I preview the page the link does not seem to do anything but redirect to an audio player page. I can press the ‘play’ button but no audio file opens.

  Have I done something wrong?

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately, the audio playback feature is browser dependent. This means that if you try to listen to your audio file in Firefox, it will play back properly, but it Chrome, it doesn’t function.

  My best suggestion would be to convert the file from M4A to MP3, as most browsers can handle MP3 playbacks. Depending on what operating system you’re using, you can convert your file to MP3 using conversion software.
