Trouble pointing my domain name to another host

  Hello, we have a new website and want the domain name “lobstersupsup.com” to point to the new site. The host has given me A records and each time i type it in, I am told it is an incorrect format. This is a big problem. Is there a phone number so I can talk to someone??

  The A record that I am inputting is : 54.236.190.114
  And I keep getting told it is an incorrect format. Help!

  Who is your new webhost? Have they given you nameservers or just the A record?
