Trouble posting Source Code
-
My blog is mainly about programming, so I have to post source code almost in every post I publish. WordPress gives a very nice feature of simply using the ‘[code]' tags for posting source code. But there arose a problem lately. When I preview my articles that have source code in them, they look fine. But once I start editing that post, the escape sequences in the source code get messed up. This creates a lot of inconvenience for me. This feature of posting the source code seems buggy, or am I using it incorrectly. What can I do? Need help ASAP.

Thanks a lot for the reply, sir. I know about the link you mentioned, sir. What my problem is that, sometimes the ‘<‘, ‘>’, ‘&’ symbols in my source code get changed to ‘>’, ‘<‘, ‘&’ without me fiddling with it. This I observed to happen whenever I edit a post that contains source code posted with it. I hope you get my problem, sir. If not, let me know. Thanks in advance..!
