Trouble putting full size picture on my wordpress page.

I uploaded the picture to imageshack.us, the picture is 618×414, and then copied the “direct link.” I opened the widgets option in wordpress, pulled the image widget to the header box on the right, and then pasted the image in the “image url” box. The image shows up on my page, but not the entire image and i chose “center” as the image alignment so I have no idea what happened.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s easy: your blog isn’t 618 pixels wide. You have to shrink it down to fit. Some themes will cut it off on the right, some will let it bump against the widgets.

I tried using the same image with smaller dimensions, but it would cut off the image in the same place. It could be that the smaller image that I used was still to large though.
