Trouble re “read full text” on archives or calendar widgets

When using either the widget “archives” or “calendar”, when a reader clicks on an archived blog, there doesn’t seem to be a link to read the full text of that post except by clicking on the comments link. Is this a glitch or is there a setting somewhere we need to toggle. We have the full text vs. summary option selected in the reading settings.

On the other hand maybe I don’t know exactly what you mean. Please expand because any time we have a title it is permalinked and we can click it to read the full entry.
