Trouble registering with a WP supported blog

  I’m having trouble registering with a blog operated under your “umbrella” (not sure of technical description).
  It is http://www.ianfraser.org/category/blog/
  I’ll wait for your response before giving the sordid details, which unfortunately occur all too often when I interact with your platform.

  http://www.ianfraser.org/category/blog/ is not a WordPress.COM blog. it is a WordPress.ORG blog, using different software, so you have to be over at WordPress.ORG for help with that.

  Do you folks ever consider making this immediately clear to the visitor who sees only the WordPress logo, then has to spend a great deal of time to decipher that 1) the blog needs its own “independent” WP user/password and 2) there exists both “.com” and “.org” arms of WP?
