Trouble Removing Unwanted Text…Yes I did check the HTML
-
Hi there,
I am having trouble removing unwanted text from one of my posts. In my post Living Below the Poverty Line on Food and Drink for 5 Days (http://lindsaymcnamara.com/2014/05/19/living-below-the-poverty-line-on-food-and-drink-for-5-days/) there is unwanted text: “ship with people living in hunger and poverty throughout the world and I hope this campaign sheds light on the conditions they face. I share The”
I have tried to find this phrase in the HTML code to remove it and I can’t find it. It does not show up over existing text on the individual post, but when folks are scrolling down my homepage the text above is over the main text of my blog. How can I remove this?
I am happy to provide a screenshot if that is helpful.
Thank you,
Lindsay McNamaraThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Lindsay,
It looks like the issue is with your post titled “Why an Environmentalist is Living Below the Poverty Line for 5 Days”, specifically the section starting “From April 28-May 2, join me in spending $1.50 a day”. There are quite a few of the following tags:
<div id="stcpDiv" style="position:absolute;top:-1999px;left:-1988px;">The absolute positioning there is creating the issue. Can you try removing all of those div tags (including the ending tags) and let me know if that clears up the issue?
