Trouble renaming link categories

  I’m trying to change the name of one of the link categories in my sidebar. But when I enter the new title it keeps saying “category not updated”. I saw somewhere in the forums that if the new name is too similar to the old one (which mine is) it won’t work. I’m trying to break up a category into two smaller ones because it’s gotten too long.

  I was thinking I could just delete the category, let the links go into Blogroll, and then start all over again, naming the two new categories and assigning the links manually. Will that work?

  What is the name of the old category, and what is the name of the new one?

  Hi Raincoaster, thanks!

  I’m trying to change “Artists/Art Websites” into two separate categories, “Artists” and “Art Resources”, so its easier to navigate. Also adding other new categories that I can’t seem to order to my liking because the new ones are automatically inserted at the top. Using Dusk theme.

  I’m willing to just delete all categories and start all over again to get my preferred configuration.
