Trouble renewing domain

I would like to renew my domain sarahbeahan.com, but I am not finding a way to do that in domain management.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you allow it to expire rather than renewing it before expiration?

Yes, I did. It expired last February. Am I still able to renew?

Strictly speaking “renew” applies only to that which has not expired. In this case, if no one has purchased the domain, then you simply purchase another domain mapping upgrade and start all over again.

Ok…so it says that the name I’m trying to register has already been mapped to a wordpress.com blog. However, it’s also still showing in my account…do I need to delete it and start over? How can I tell if someone else has registered this name?
Also, is there a way to contact support directly?

Good news – your domain is still available. I’ve disconnected it from your account so you should be able to re-register it like any new domain.

Just let us know if you run into any trouble.

You can do a search in any domain registry lookup tool, such as: http://www.internic.net/whois.html
