trouble renewing domain name

  About 10 months ago, I started a paid registration of http://hootnhowlfarm.com as the domain name for the website for my parents farm. I also have website at http://aaronpoley.wordpress.com. I got a couple of emails in the last two months that it’s time to renew the registration for hootnhowlfarm.com, but when I click on the link in the emails, I get sent to a dashboard for http://aaronpoley.wordpress.com, with no way to get to a dashboard for hootnhowlfarm.com, nor any way I can see to renew the hootnhowlfarm.com domain name.

  The URL takes me to the dashboard for aaronpoley.wordpress.com, not for hootnhowlfarm.com, and I can’t change anything about hootnhowlfarm.com from aaronpoley.wordpress.com.

  The domain was registered through wordpress.com, so you administer that domain through the dashboard of the blog you have or had here when you registered that domain name.

  Go to settings > domains in the dashboard of the blog you had when you registered that domain name.

  Now, at the top of the dashboard for aaronpoley.wordpress.com, I see

  Some of your subscriptions have expired or are about to expire. Visit the Upgrades page to renew them.

  When I clicked upgrade, I was sent to the Domains page, which didn’t show anything about hootnhowlfarm.com. I clicked on Upgrade. The closest thing I could see to what I want was “Add a Domain,” so under that I clicked “Buy Now.” But, then I went back to the dashboard, and there was still the message, “Some of your subscriptions have expired or are about to expire.”
