Trouble renewing website which expired Oct 31

Yikes, I didn’t know my website renewal for carlanthonyonlune.com was up in Oct 31. The problem seems to be the old email address I used to originally start it in 2010 (aol.com) because when I checked in there I finally found all the emails about renewal. I also can’t seem to sign into my WordPress account via aol. I want to restore my website ASAP. Can you help me figure this out?

I see your domain carlanthonyonlune.com is available for sale.

  • Hi, there!

What’s the address of the domain you’re trying to get back? If it’s about carlanthonyonline.com, this domain expired back in November.

Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.

You can learn more about domain expiration here:

Recover an Expired or Cancelled Domain

The good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain if it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else.

A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive.

The total price will be $98, which is $18 for the regular renewal, plus the $80 late renewal fee.

If we are unable to recover your domain, your payment will be refunded. If you do not wish to pay the $80 fee, you may let the domain expiration process continue and attempt to register the domain again at the regular price, once it has completely expired.

Please note that someone else may purchase the domain first, in which case you will be unable to register it again, but if you prefer this option, just let us know and we’ll be happy to provide you further instructions.
