trouble retrieving site settings?

    Everytime I try to write or edit a blog post, I am unable to save anything and an error message reading ‘there was an error retrieving your site settings, make sure Jetpack is up to date’ pops up even though Jetpack is updated to the latest version: 4.1.1.
    The stats on Jetpack are working fine, just not the site management,
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
