Trouble setting featured image

    I can’t figure out how to set the featured image for my posts—according to your help article (http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#other-featured-images), I should see an option to display featured image on the Screen Options on the Edit Post Page. However I don’t see any option for Featured Image there.

    I am using the Ari theme, which doesn’t use Featured Image in its normal design, but I have a Most Popular Posts widget on the right column that displays thumbnails along with each post title, and I want to be able to control which image is used for that.

    Hi there,

    You will need to use a theme that supports Featured Images in order to have the ability to set them on your posts/pages. I will pass this on to our engineering team as a suggestion, but it is unlikely we will enable the featured image setting (unless the blog supports it) any time soon.
