Trouble sizing photos in new version of WP

  Since the last major WP update, I can’t figure out how to upload full size photos. I upload full size images to my gallery where they come out as thumbnails, and show up this way when I add them to a post as well. There used to be an option to use thumbnail, medium, or large photos. What is the new way to do this?
