Trouble transferring site ownership

Hi there! I’ve created a site with WooCommerce/Jetpack for a client. It’s up and running, but when she tries to, for instance, create shipping options in WooCommerce, it tells her that she must contact the site owner (me). So we created a wordpress.com account for her and linked it to the site. I do not have this site listed under me on my wordpress.com account, and yet we are still getting the message that I am the site owner. At this point I’m not really sure what other steps I need to take to remove myself as the site owner. Any advice? Thanks so much!

Hi there,
To change the owner of a Jetpack site you need to log into the WP-Admin dashboard, click on the Jetpack plugin, and disconnect it. Then log into the new WordPress.com account and reconnect Jetpack.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, even though I logged out and the client registered a new account and logged in with that, Woocommerce still lists me as the site owner. :(
