Trouble turning off email notifications
-
My latest blog post has been a lot more popular than previous ones, so I am now flooded with email notifications of likes, comments and new followers. I went to the notification settings and set everything I could see to off, but I’m still getting emails almost constantly.
Is this a problem with wordpress not updating the settings, or am I missing something obvious? What else can I try?
Any help much appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go to https://wordpress.com/me/notifications and take note of the very last setting there.

Thanks. Hopefully that will do the trick. But I’ll leave this thread open in case anyone knows a way I can still receive email updates from blogs I follow (I’d still like to get an email when they post something), but not for my own blog.

Actually, I’m still receiving email updates when someone likes a blog post. Any further ideas what I can try???

If you are subscribed to your own blog then unsubscribe. 1. Click the “unsubscribe” link on the emails of the posts received at the very bottom of the emails.
2. Or go here > http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/ locate and click the “x” next to any blog there to unfollow it and no longer receive posts in the Reader or by email.
3. Or go to the blog in question and click the unfollow/follow link on your Admin bar.
