Trouble Updating a Page
-
Why is it that when I edit my web page (using an imported Microsoft Word file), with some adjustments ,it displays correctly on my computer but when another person in another location, using their computer views it, the page is garbled?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can you point me to a specific page you’re having trouble with? Also, when you say someone else views it from another location, are they using the same browser as you are or a different browser?

It’s the Programs page. I just did a reformatting which got rid of the columns format – itseemed like this was causing the problem. I Need to update this page monthly, in line with our concert schedule. I do the updates using my Firefox browser and then check the results on different devices i own and on Safari and Internet Explorer browsers. Typically everything looks good at my end but I get feedback from a couple of other users of the web page that the update looks garbled. I would like to insure that no matter who reads it (on whatever device/browser, it always looks OK.

Hi!
The page appears correctly on my side now in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. If this happens in the future, could you ask the user(s) experiencing trouble to snap a screenshot?
Also, if you could grab their browser version, that would greatly help. Without being able to reproduce this or see what “garbled” means exactly, I’m not able to troubleshoot very effectively.

Thanks for the response. The page is fine now because I made an adjustment in the formatting. If it happens again, which I suspect it will, I will follow your suggestions to demonstrate it more clearly.
