Trouble Updating Theme

  Hello,

  I tried to change my theme and when I try to select it, it says unable to update theme and to contact support.

  Hi Julia,

  The site https://thejetsetprep.wordpress.com/ has the Libretto theme applied. WordPress.com themes can’t be updated by users. Are you referring to a different site/theme? Instructions you might find online for updating WordPress themes apply to WordPress.org themes used on self-hosted sites.

  Perhaps I’m misunderstanding. What do you mean by “update [the] theme?” And where are you attempting to update the theme? Depending upon the theme applied, you may make certain customizations at Customize, then save your changes. Some types of customization will require the Custom CSS upgrade.
